While character art is sweet and heavily detailed down to the minor visuals, background and scenery lack those special details that really make you feel like you’re part of the world. The world setting lacks depth. It’s hard to say if they will ever reveal important details, as there are many plot holes to the story that will never be figured out. Generally, animation is below average. The cast would be the best thing to say about Grimgar. Superb VA’s draw viewers closer to realistic personality that can sometimes hit close to home. The lines in dialogue set the mood perfectly. The soundtrack sets the mood perfectly with great consistency. Even though character art is good, details down to the smallest fashion accessories are even better. This can become a top favorite if you give it some time to grow on you.
